CCA donates $10,000 to National Lulac

	In 2005, Corrections Corporation of America was a sponsor of the 2005 National LULAC convention as a Patron Sponsor donating $10,000. CCA also donated in 2006 to the National Lulac Convention an indistinctive amount. In 2007, CCA also donated to National Lulac but due to action within Lulac, they decided to return the CCA check back to them. In 2007, at the 78th Annual Lulac convention, a law enforcement breakfast was held. The U.S. Army has donated to the National Lulac conventions while recruiting young minds at the Expo to go fight in Iraq. Budweiser is another sponsor to the Lulac National conventions. Many corporate sponsors donate to National Lulac, but only CCA have they decided to return their 2007 check back to them because of the T. Don Hutto Residential Center. LULAC's Civil Rights have been compromised which makes it a less effective organization. Ethical Standards into accepting monies have to be established if LULAC is to be trusted by the people.
