Subject: How can we hope to free the children from Hutto...
How can we hope to free innocent children from the Hutto "for profit" prison...
If we cannot stop torture?
If we cannot stop Joe Arpaio?
If we cannot stop an iron curtain being built on US soil?
If we cannot stop "for profit" interment camps with no due process?
Another masterpiece by Jeremy who exposed Blackwater.

All we have to do is look on our own soil and see how the same forces criminalize and imprison refugees in "for profit" internment camps by the tens of thousands, including innocent children from newborns on up in age. The dehumanizing practices of the racist supremacists and neo-Nazis under Sheriff Arpaio in Arizona with chain gangs of immigrant refugees, women and young people, all with impunity.
All we have to do is look at the "poor", as they loose their jobs and homes, bailing out the "rich" and the October plan for Martial Law, suspension of the Constitution and cancellation of the national elections if Congress failed to yield to the extortion of $700 billion.
All we have to do is realize that Blackwater, Halliburton, KBR are still operating here in the US as well as in the war zone in the Middle East.
All we still need to do is realize that a 700 mile iron curtain is still being constructed on US soil.
All we still have to do is realize how many of those who claim the to be "red blooded American" patriots also claim the Prince of Peace as their personal Savior are also the very ones committing all these atrocities. For them it's a religious war. They win by rape and torture, pillage and destruction.
All we have to realize is that this is not about "conservative versus liberal policies", or "right or left" issues. This is simply about what is morally "right or wrong". Unfortunately, the brute truth is that the complicity of the Ds with the Rs runs deep in Congress.
Some of us still believe in the pledge of "Liberty and Justice for All". Let's start with the victims of US tyranny...and free them. Let's start with the children in Hutto, the immigrants in Raymondville and Port Isabel and internment camps all across the country. Let's included the prisoners in Guantanamo. Until we free innocent people, we are no longer a "free country"...but a morally bankrupt nation. As a whole, we are a people who have been driven by the ruling elite into living in debilitating and denigrating fear, afraid to openly express outrage to the point of stopping the atrocities being committed in the name of democracy and freedom.
Where are those who have sworn to "defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". It must start with "uno mismo". Me. You.
Oh! The world our children and grandchildren will inherit from us tomorrow...especially if we are silent today.
"Silence is complicity."

Good afternoon friends...
Here's a call for solidarity...
June 20, 2009 is the World Refugee Day...also known as the International Refugee Day. It falls on a Saturday.
Two years ago we collaborated with Amnesty International and dozens of other organizations held the largest protest against the imprisonment of children at the T. Don Hutto detention facility.
Children are still imprisoned there. Other such "family" prisons are in the planning stages by the Department of Homeland Security. This immoral and un-American practice must stop.
Would you personally be willing to participate with us again in a planned vigil, on June 20th, the World Refugee Day, in solidarity with the innocent children and their mothers who are imprisoned in Hutto...to encourage the new President and new Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to put an end to the Bush-Cheney-Chertoff practices?
President Obama has called for an end to tyranny of Guantanamo and torture. How about if we encourage him to bring an end to the immoral incarceration of children, asylum seekers and desperate refugees...which is being done, not for national security but "for profit"?
If you and are willing to join us or simply endorse this event from wherever you are, please e-mail Sarah Boone at sboone@stx.rr.com or call (830)768-1100.
Calling for solidarity...to free innocent children...
