> It has been one of my goals in life to bring awareness to help Free the Children at the T. Don Hutto Residential Center. Some great leaders have done more harm than good to the Free the Children Coalition. I am part of of a Collective Movement that brings awareness through our past struggles. For example, when I attended last year in the Summer to bring awareness about Hutto at a press conference at Guadalupe Plaza, the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation was only concerned to where have I been as far as activism goes. At that time, I had a baby newborn that required my attention which left me out of their loop, but not completely left out. At this press conference, people were fighting over dates to protest at Hutto. Then somebody started praising Jay Castro as the founder to this movement which I never met personally and received emails that he was counting every protest at Hutto. Then Jaime Martinez and Tony Mandujano sabotaged other protests at Hutto to only
> include theirs as official. I attended a Free the Children Coalition meeting at Tito's Mexican Restaurant with about 25 activists in attendance with no Jaime Martinez nor Tony Mandujano. Jaime Martinez did not march with El Pueblo de San Anto on May 1st 2007, and May 1st 2008. We have not heard from him in his involvement to Free the Children ever since his national organization of LULAC was receiving funds from CCA that privatizes Hutto. He may have sent an email saying he returned the check back to CCA since he is the Lulac National Treasurer. Many people like myself have written to Jaime Martinez and told him that he was aware of this and that nobody such as him with a union background could be so naive. May the organizers of the May 24th demonstration at Hutto be free from sabotage techniques, and free from organizations who accept CCA funds. May they also be free from Hutto protest count #? and name recognition as to who is sponsor or
> co-sponsoring. We are all a collective and some may or may not attend the meetings, and the emails help us out. Peace! PR
