 | | When a small group protested Ciro Rodriguez' office for supporting the anti-immigrant act known as the Save Act of 2007, it got local and regional attention in Tejaztlan. Ciro Rodriguez is running for Congress again and his commercials are flawless thinking he would do more assistance to veterans. Ciro Rodriguez needs to be held accountable to La Raza y el pueblo Chicano/Mexicano if he plans to incarcerate children in prisons for profit like the T. Don Hutto Residential Center. His support of the Save Act was well published in the San Antonio Express-News on November 6,2007, by writer Gary Martin titled "Rep. Rodriguez backs border security bill." Gary Martin can be contacted at gmartin@express-news.net and the National Council of La Raza opposes the Save Act that would criminalize the 12 million undocumented and build more detention centers. When we cast our votes, as a people, it's to be in solidarity with the people of Mexico and all Raza in countries like Central and South America. | | | |

 | | Is Ciro Rodriguez the right candidate for Congress after we are aware of him supporting an anti-immigrant bill? I would hate for his opponent to have this information because it could ruin Ciro's reputation as a bad Congressman in Tejaztlan that appeals to the Anglo establishment only and its constituents. Ciro needs to wake up and smell the coffee because if the people know of his pendejadas, then more than likely the Nation will know as well. Tlazocamati - Ollin Quetzalcoatl 21 | | | |
